This is a hidden gem! We decided to camp last minute on Memorial day weekend. The fishing was excellent, friendly and accommodating staff, and a beautiful tent campsite! Pets are allowed as we brought our 2 dachshunds. We had to bring a grill as there wasn't one for our fire pit. We docked our boat for free which was awesome. The only downfall was you can't launch your boat at the resort...there are 2 public landings and one of them is quite weedy. Overall, great place.

Drove an hour to take my boys fishing at Sherards because, well, they've been going there their whole lives. Thats for the past 15 yrs might i add!! Just for the new owner Luke(I believe that's what the dudes name was) to tell us he's not allowing public access to anyone. Campers only. My boys were extremely disappointed.After all these years that's what people get to deal with!! What a guy
